Dream Big

Another great poem to share

"Dream Big"

If there were ever a time to dare,
to make a difference,
to embark on something worth doing,
it is now.
Not for any grand cause, necessarily-
but for something that tugs at your heart,
something that’s your aspiration,
something that’s your dream.

You owe it to yourself
to make your days here count.
Have fun.
Dig Deep.

Dream big.

Know, though, that things worth doing
seldom come easy.
There will be good days.
There will be times when you want to turn around,
pack it up,
and call it quits.
those times tell you
that you are pushing yourself,
that you are not afraid to learn by trying.

Because with an idea,
and the right tools,
you can do great things.
Let your instincts,
your intellect,
and your heart
guide you.

Believe in the incredible power of the human mind.
Of doing something that makes a difference.
Of working hard.
Of laughing and hoping.
Of lazy afternoons.
Of lasting friends.
Of all the things that will cross your path this year.

The start of something new
brings the hope of something great.
Anything is possible.
There is only one you.
And you will pass this way only once.
Do it right.

A good quote from today –

"Things worth having never come easy"

It’s Hard to Go Backward…

This is the 3rd day that I don’t own a phone… Well, I own a phone but without a number that works. Hence, I am not receiving any text, call, or whatsoever at this moment.

The adjustment that I have to make at this moment is not easy. I am worried that if someone contacted me but I am not able to respond. Nor I am able to coordinate events or being get a hold of.

From have to have not… Although this is the lighter note of it but it is never easy.

Risk and Life

Irony of life, after writing that blog, I was so annoyed by people today because I was not able to attend a meeting due to the fact that I was in class. I know they are probably joking but there is a fine line to it. I already apologized for something that it is not even my fault. I even told someone that I probably will not be able to make it to the meeting.

Anyway, I have a great poem to share:

To Risk

"To laugh is to risk appearing a fool,
To weep is to risk appearing sentimental.
To reach out to another is to risk involvement,
To expose feelings is to risk exposing your true self.
To place your ideas and dreams before a crowd is to risk their loss.
To love is to risk not being loved in return,
To live is to risk dying,
To hope is to risk despair,
To try is to risk failure.

But risks must be taken because the greatest hazard in life is to risk nothing.

The person who risks nothing, does nothing, has nothing, is nothing.
He may avoid suffering and sorrow,
But he cannot learn, feel, change, grow or live.
Chained by his servitude he is a slave who has forfeited all freedom.

Only a person who risks is free.
The pessimist complains about the wind;
The optimist expects it to change;
And the realist adjusts the sails."
